2. Measurement

Measurement Measurement

Measuring the Width and the Length for Outside Mount:

Measure the area that the shades is to cover. For the shades it is recommended to overlap the window opening by at least 1 1/2” on each side for a total of 3”. To allow for enough space for the mounting brackets and to cover the bottom of the window, the suggested overlap for a shades varies depending on the size of the shades and the valance option that is selected. If the window opening has a sill, measure from where the top of the shades will be located to the top of the windowsill.

Confirming Measurements:

The most common error in ordering shades is reversing the width and the length measurements. Always confirm that the width is the measurement that goes across from left to right and that the length is the measurement that goes from top to bottom. List the width measurement first (W x L).

3. Secure the Bracket

 Secure the Bracket

Mark drilling positions for the bracket. Use an electric drill to securely fasten the bracket and prevent the shades from falling. The shades is punched inside or outside as shown.

Note: Brackets must be mounted on the same level surface to ensure proper installation of the curtain, Bracket spacers may be mounted on uneven or sloping surfaces to keep the curtain mounted on the wall without tilting.

4. Install the shades

Install the shades

Lift the shades and insert the front section of the shades slot into the front of the mounting code protruding transparency, then press the shades as a whole inward to the deepest point before lifting the shades upward so that the back end of the shades slot into the mounting code snap and then the installation is complete.

The cassette increases the light-blocking strip, realizes the close fit with the window frame, solves the light leakage problem of the shading scene, and the light-blocking strip doesn't affect the firmness.

6. Zebra shades Care and Cleaning:

For the care and cleaning of your zebra shades, we recommend gentle cleaning methods.

Zebra shades are decorative and primarily made of polyester fiber, or blends of polyester-cotton,polyester-linen, or PVC. Fabrics in this series should not be treated with harsh chemicals.

If wrinkled, use light steam for ironing.Ensure the steamer does not touch the fabric and keep it at least 6” away.

If cleaning stains is necessary, use only water or a very mild detergent.Thorough washing may cause fabric shrinkage, water stains, or color changes.

Following these recommendations will help extend the lifespan of your zebra shades and keep them beautiful for years to come!
